A little moody today, but cheered by out-of-season tulips. Tulips in September is rather like cheating but after yesterday's 9/11 stories, I need a little cheer. I certainly hope that we, as a nation, can move past this recent polarization.
Curiosity has never failed to lead me to unexpected places, urban and rural. Meandering has been a major passion since my first solo trip, hitchhiking & sketching my way from spot to spot. As a muralist, it's my way of connecting to the world around me, a gestural response, a way of slowing down and that's a worthy ambition.
